Privacy & discretion
Privacy is part of the store design, not an afterthought. We intentionally collect less information than a conventional webshop.
What checkout asks for
- FetLife name — required so we can identify your order.
- Email address — optional.
- Pickup event or appointment — required.
- Optional pickup details or order notes when relevant.
What we deliberately do not ask for
For the normal CoyWorks pickup flow, checkout does not ask for your legal name, home address, shipping address, phone number, or a customer account.
Payment privacy
Payment is handled manually through a Tikkie or Dutch bank payment request. That payment happens outside this website. Your bank or payment provider may therefore process information according to its own privacy policy.
Technical data
Like most websites, the hosting platform and security tooling may process technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser data, and server logs. Order records contain the products ordered, pricing, the pickup choice, your FetLife name, and an email address only when you choose to provide one.
Retention
Order and administrative records are kept only as needed to fulfil orders and where retention is necessary for accounting, security, or legal obligations. We do not build customer profiles for advertising from checkout data.
